1. Scope and principles
This Privacy Policy applies to the SkippingFit app, website, support, and related services provided by Beijing Nvwa City Technology Co., Ltd. ("we", "us", or "our"). We process personal information lawfully, fairly, transparently, and only to the extent necessary for the stated purposes.
SkippingFit is a jump rope training aid. Basic training can be used without signing in. Cloud rankings, membership benefits, device migration, friend challenges, customer support, diagnostics, and security protection may require limited information processing.
2. Information we collect and use
Training and record information
To provide counting, workout records, trends, badges, widgets, friend challenges, and rankings, we may process jump count, duration, average pace, estimated calories, start and end time, training mode, input source, device sync status, and compact workout summaries. We do not require upload of raw workout detail files unless you choose to send them for support.
Device and diagnostic information
To keep the service stable, secure, and fair, we may process device model, system version, app version, language and region, network status, crash information, performance logs, error logs, and necessary device or installation identifiers. These are used for diagnostics, installation and activity statistics, abnormal request detection, and ranking integrity.
Account, purchase, and support information
When you sign in, subscribe, restore purchases, join rankings, or contact support, we may process account identifiers, membership state, App Store transaction verification results, support emails, and screenshots, recordings, logs, or descriptions you submit.
3. Device permissions and local recognition
- Camera: Used for pose recognition, positioning guidance, and jump counting. Routine recognition is processed on device and raw camera video is not uploaded.
- Motion sensors: Used to read motion signals from iPhone, AirPods, or Apple Watch for jump recognition, rhythm analysis, and training feedback.
- Apple Health: Used only after authorization to read workout context or write workout summaries. You can manage authorization in iOS Health or Settings.
- Notifications, Bluetooth, local network, and network: Used for reminders, device connection, iPhone and Apple Watch communication, account sync, rankings, membership verification, and challenge links.
- Photos or microphone: Used only when you actively choose related feedback, screen recording support, or a system capability requires it.
You can disable permissions in system settings. Some features may stop working after permission is disabled, but unrelated basic features remain available.
4. Account sync, rankings, and friend challenges
SkippingFit is local-first. Cloud sync uploads only compressed summaries required for membership, rankings, migration, and challenges. We do not upload raw camera video, full sensor waveforms, or detailed workout files unless you voluntarily provide them for support.
Rankings and challenges may display your nickname, avatar, workout summary, ranking, challenge result, and necessary time information. To protect fairness, we may verify, hide, reject, or delete abnormal, cheated, attacked, or clearly unreasonable data.
5. Sharing, processors, and third-party services
We do not sell your personal information. To provide App Store purchases, Apple Health, notifications, crash diagnostics, server hosting, support email, and security protection, we may share or entrust limited information to Apple or infrastructure, email, and diagnostic providers. They must process information only for agreed purposes and under security requirements.
We may disclose information when required by laws, regulators, judicial procedures, public safety, user protection, or protection of our lawful rights and interests.
6. Retention and security
We keep information only for the period necessary for the purposes described here. Workout records are stored locally by default. Cloud summaries, account, membership, ranking, challenge, and security logs are retained as needed and deleted or anonymized when the purpose is fulfilled, the account is closed, the service ends, or the legal retention period expires.
We use access control, transport encryption, least privilege, log auditing, and abnormal activity monitoring. No internet service is absolutely secure, so please protect your device, account, and verification codes.
7. Your rights
Within the scope allowed by applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, withdrawal of authorization, account closure, privacy explanations, or restrictions on automated decisions, ranking display, and marketing notifications. Some requests may require identity verification.
You can manage some rights in the app, iOS settings, App Store subscription management, or by contacting us at the email below.
8. Minors
SkippingFit is intended for users who can train safely. Minors should use the service with guardian consent and under safe conditions. Guardians may contact us if they believe a minor's information has been handled improperly.
9. Changes
We may update this policy for product, legal, or operational reasons. Material changes will be announced in the app, on the website, or by other reasonable means. Where law requires separate consent, we will obtain it as required.
